Welcome to Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps #53 Barrie.

Since 1943, RCSCC Barrie is a Corps that embodies our motto – “Ready Aye Ready”. We proudly serve the City of Barrie, Simcoe County and beyond.

We are a free & inclusive youth development program for anyone between the ages of 12-18. As part of our Corps, you will get to learn life-changing skills and participate in experiences and activities you can’t get elsewhere that include, but are not limited to:

  • Sailing & Seamanship,
  • Music,
  • Drill,
  • Marksmanship,
  • Ceremonial parades,
  • Physical fitness & healthy living,
  • Community involvement (community service and co-op hours available),
  • Professionalism & loyalty,
  • Mutual respect, integrity & teamwork,
  • A sense of belonging & friendship,
  • Discipline & leadership,
  • And so much more.

New members are always welcome. We are a free program based in Barrie, ON.
